Virtual Brass Programming

The 2020 Virtual SSMF Brass Program is available for all students accepted into the 2020 Sewanee Summer Music Festival. Students will have the opportunity to participate in individual lessons, group classes, and seminars with acclaimed artist faculty, and connect with students across the world, all from the safety of their own homes.

Virtual Trombone Studio

Dr. Bynum will be offering one free studio class per week for SSMF 2020 applicants. Also included is a subscription to our Virtual Masterclass Series, a presentation of classes and seminars over the course of the summer on a wide range of topics applicable to all program areas.

Also, you may purchase the following:

2 Trombone lessons and studio/special topics class

4 Trombone lessons and studio/special topics class

$175 for two lessons and special topics class (for a total of three sessions a week, one free studio class, one paid special topics class and one lesson)

$325 for four lessons and special topics class (for a total of three sessions a week, one free studio class, one paid special topics class and one lesson)

NOTE – if you register for any of the paid modules, you do not have to register for the free class, you will automatically be registered.

To complete your registration, please pay your tuition here. The deadline to register is June 1, 2020.

The Sewanee Summer Music Festival reserves the right to deny registrants and refund fees to anyone who does not have the proper level of training to participate in the course.
