Virtual Piano Program

Students in the 2020 Virtual SSMF Piano Program will have the opportunity to participate in individual lessons, group classes, and seminars with acclaimed artist faculty and connect with students across the world, all from the safety of their own homes. The program includes four weeks of instruction between June 20-July 19, 2020.

The registration deadline for the Piano Studio has been extended until June 10, 2020. 

Program Offerings:

Four one hour private lessons with the faculty (two lessons with each faculty member)

Weekly Zoom studio class (contingent on enrollment): You will be able to perform live or pre-record yourself. Feedback will be provided by SSMF faculty and students in the online session.

Special topics, presented by faculty, one class per week: Contemporary Music for Piano, College Teaching/Job Applications/Resume, Freelance Q and A, Historical Recordings

Tuition and Fees:

The total cost of tuition is $525, which includes a subscription to the SSMF Virtual Masterclass Series, a program of classes and seminars applicable to all instruments. Extra lessons can be purchased for an additional fee. To complete registration, pay your tuition here. The Sewanee Summer Music Festival reserves the right to deny registrants and refund fees to anyone who does not have the proper level of training to participate in the course.
