Faculty

Our faculty come from leading orchestras, chamber ensembles, conservatories, and university programs. They come to Sewanee each summer to perform, teach, and inspire the next generation.

Conductors

Each summer, Sewanee assembles leading conductors from across the world who are passionate about music and educating the next generation of musical leaders.

Repertoire

The Festival Director is working with our faculty snd guest conductors to develop programming that is both exciting for our participants and presentable under current COVID-19 restrictions. A full repertoire list for the Cumberland Orchestra and Sewanee Symphony will be announced in January 2022.

“The day I left Sewanee was the first day I wanted to go back.”
